We can still support our local businesses, whether that be buying gift vouchers, order from them online, enjoy a tasty take away or even if it's just a like and share of their social media, it all helps! 💚💙💚It’s the first day of the month long lockdown and we’re sorry for the many businesses who have had to close their doors in line with Covid-19 government guidelines - they are all the heartbeat of the Bay and we look forward to seeing them again soon. 🧡
We’re busy contacting our businesses, compiling a list of what they are planning to support the local community. We will be sharing this on social media channels and our website in the next couple of days. ✅
As well as the essential businesses who will remain open, there are many non-essential retailers who have been able to pivot their business model to offer a ‘click & collect’ service, non contact deliveries and for customers not using social media some shops are offering a telephone service too.
Businesses in the Bay have continued to support the local community throughout the pandemic and they really need your support to help them during these unprecedented times - so please shop local and ‘buy in the bay’ this Christmas season, knowing you’re buying unique gifts and helping the local economy! 🙏

A regular conversation with candidates right now is about rejection. It has been a tough year for many and in the current market many candidates are applying for numerous jobs therefore may be getting more no's.
My tips to candidates who are seeking new opportunities:
- Structure your day
- Variety - agencies, job boards, LinkedIn, networking
- Pick up the phone, don't rely on emails
- Be proactive and persistent
- Keep positive
- Revisit your CV, Linked In profile
- Research the company and job role
- Tell them how you can add value
Always remember....you are just being re-directed to something better!
